I cannot say enough wonderful things about Las Colinas Post Acute. Our family member is a permanent resident there, and the care he receives truly gives our family peace of mind. A very special thank you to the LVNs — Gabby, Maria, and Phillip, who go above and beyond every single day. Their compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism do not go unnoticed. They treat Fred with kindness, dignity, and genuine care, and that means everything to us. All of the staff seem happy, supportive of one another, and proud of the work they do. It shows in the way the facility is run and in the way residents are treated. We are so grateful to have Fred in a place where he is safe, cared for, and respected. Thank you to the entire team at Las Colinas Post Acute!

My mother in law was treated here and I was skeptical due to some reviews I had read. The staff was great nurses where all polite everything was clean and my mother in-law said all the staff treated her well. Any time I had Questions both Prima and Cynthia were always available for any concerns or after hour Questions. Victor always came in to check on my mother-in-law. Over all would recommend anyone needing any care for a loved one.

My uncle Fred has been a long time resident there. Myself along with my family are extremely happy with the care that he receives. The food is outstanding. Management is always there for help. The nurses are super friendly! Victor is always walking the floor talking to residents and helping with any needs that we may need!

This facility is absolutely fantastic. My family member has been a resident for 3 yrs now & I visit 5 days a week at different times. From a warm greeting by Kaleb at the reception desk to the amazing nursing staff, Oscar, Anthony, Maria & gabby & Phillip just to mention a few names. Trish in the finance off & Victor as well. If I ever have concerns Victor is my goto person and issues are resolved immediately. The food served here is amazing & the cleaning is impeccable & I’m picky. The physical therapy team is always on the go helping others . I’m so grateful for the recommendation I received to have my family brought here. David kantrim

I couldn’t be happier with the care my loved one received here. He is 85 and has dementia, and having a sitter provided when I couldn’t be there gave me tremendous peace of mind. I visited five skilled nursing facilities in the area before choosing this one, and I’m very glad I did. Victor gave us a tour of the facility and was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and making us feel confident in our decision. Prima was an absolute godsend. She was always available by text whenever I needed help reaching my loved one, had questions for the nursing staff, or needed updates when I couldn’t be there. She also helped coordinate his discharge, which required extra planning since he lives in a memory care facility and paperwork was needed from multiple doctors. She made sure everything was completed on time and without added stress. Victor and Prima are truly outstanding employees and a tremendous asset to this facility. I would not hesitate to use this facility again if the need arises

I don’t recommend anyone go to this horrid place. The nurses leave you in your waste overnight. The nurses sleep on graveyard. They don’t answer the call button for over 45mins. The nurses will retaliate against you if you report them to the administrator Trevor. They left me alone for 6hrs in my waste. They manhandled me causing me to slide off the bed. Trevor eventually stopped responding to my concerns and offered no assistance. Trevor, Diane & Victor don’t care how their staff treat the patients. The nurses are mean and hateful. They won’t give you your pain meds if you complain. They wouldn’t treat me for Covid even though I was diagnosed 4dys prior. I had to call 911 to get treatment. They didn’t return some of my personal property. They feed you cold food. They really treat you bad if your family doesn’t come around to check on you. The only thing good about this place is the physical therapy department and a nurse named Megan. I reported them to several agencies. I was only there for 2wks. Out of 14dys only 2dys was uneventful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

too much favoritism, When there is a problem, they rather move you instead of the person causing the problem. Never get your order when you fill out the menu. They claim if you need art supplies to contact Activities, but they never do anything. When your laundry gets lost, its your loss and they will not give back what you got lost or stolen.

After reading all the reviews of this place i wasnt to happy my dad was going to this facility but I knew he needed some rehabilitation after back surgery. All of the bad reviews were exactly what happened to him there. Nurses not responding to the call button for hours, he needed help using the restroom but the night time nurses would not even respond to him and make him go to the bathroom in his clothes. The physical therapy session was literally less than 10 mins in a chair that had a pedal thing on the ground and they would just sit him there and walk away and not even work with him. They tried giving him pain medication when he didnt need it and said he had no pain at all. They didnt give him a shower/wipe down for 7 days and thats only because I was there complaining to them and they finally did it. This is just not the facility if you are truly trying to get some rehabilitation after a surgery. Please read all the negative reviews and trust the people that are writing them!

My step father is there and I has been hospitalized with sepsis and frequent UTIs. I calm for an update and the nurses cannot give a decent update, they always say they cannot answer because they aren’t a doctor but never have a charge nurse or doctor call back as promised.

My mom was admitted to las colinas in March after being released from the hospital. I just wanted to thank all the staff and ca’s that helped her they were all wonderful and really cared about her.The therapy department was great, thank you Saul and Cassandra for working with her,you made her feel safe so she could start walking again. The trust she had in them was amazing. Her PA Holly is one fantastic person who really cares about her patients. The last person I would like to say thank you to is Tricia Lomuscio, she helps with the insurance. Let me tell you if you or anyone you know happens to come here make sure you talk to her about any of your insurance questions, the woman is fantastic and amazing I just can’t thank her enough for all she did for my mom. My mom is now home thanks to all these people that cared about her. Again thank you all. My mom is N.H 225 A. Thanks D.E

When my grandma got there she was awake and alert and each week she was there she got worse. Patients are 3 to a room and don’t get looked in on enough. I get they might not be staffed enough but if that’s the case don’t take so many patients . And the nurses are rude and act like it’s a waste of their time to help and they just stay at the nurses station just talking loudly and getting upset when they get called. My grandma ended passing away and while I don’t blame them directly I don’t think they did anything to care for her in a way that would have made her better.

Definitely the worst place for both patients and employees!! The staff that cares for the elderly are the worst!! They can go through the bathroom and they change them until they are almost bleeding!! And the employees complain about how bad all the administrators of this so-called hospital for the elderly are.

I visited this facility This facility definitely needs attention! Walk into the rooms and the restrooms smell horrid! My mom sadly passed away while at the facility. Sadly, her nurse neglected her symptoms and just comforted her with pain meds when she was complaining about numbness to her left side. Too many patients for so little nurses! My mom went in for physical therapy as she had muscle loss due to diabetes and never made it out. When my mom passed away, the director and assistant got very confrontational and were not helpful! We wanted answers and they were avoiding answering our questions. They told the coroner she had so many other health issues not taking ownership for the negligence. They were supposed to call me back with results of investigation and never did. Only good person in that facility was Grace the CNA. she was amazing to my mother.

Las Colinas Post Acute Rehab is the best place for skilled nursing and rehab services. The employees are extremely wonderful and fantastic. The facility has helped me tremendously. I received a new outlook on life here. I will thoroughly miss this place. This has been my home since May 2023.

I arrived at Las Colinas Wednesday evening July 24th 2024. The next day I was feeling much better and able to walk and care for my needs. I informed the Director of Case Management that I would be going home on Saturday. Needless to say, a very serious discussion ensued. Later that evening Dr. Woodbury came to see me. I informed him that I was doing much better and able to take care of my needs and that I was going home on Saturday. He said nothing about me staying any longer than that. On Friday one of the ladies who handles discharge came to see me. I was in the process of cleaning up so I could not sign any paperwork. She said she would be back later that day. She never came back! Today is Saturday the 27th, and there are no discharge papers for me or in the system. I have been told that if I leave it would be against doctor’s orders. Therefore they have the right to hold my medication which I need. I am being held hostage! Do not send your loved ones to this place! The food is so bad that the regular residents send out for food to be delivered.

My dad is in there for care currently march 8th 2024 just got notified of his mistreatment and neglect from the overnight staff including they hid the call button from him under the mattress, this is neglect and abuse from the overnight staff. Not everyone there is bad but apparently they need to address these issues and seems from past patients reviews I’m reading and hearing about this overnight staff I wonder how they would feel left soiled in there own poop and pee overnight until the next shift arrives. And not attend to the patients just sit there talking and laughing it up while they earn a paycheck.
